Cent hunting victory

I have rescued over 28 wheaties out of 9000 pennies searched in the last week. I know that is only .31% but I sure am happy.

I'm up to 67 wheat's this month with my md. It's funny how I can remember digging wheat pennies, and not the quarters. Actually, when I think about it, I would rather find a wheat penny than a quarter. I guess I don't need the money, I would rather have a more rare coin? In the years ahead, when there all but gone, we will all be talking about how we use to find wheat pennies all the time. I hope the mint quits making em, that way they will be even more rare .

If the mint quits making the 1 cent coin, in a short time you will no longer be able to CRH them as there will be none to buy. Careful what you wish for.
