Browsing thru A. T. Evan's Treasure Hunters' Yearbook 1970- '71 today, and noticed a photograph on p. 39 (sorry, still protected by copyright, or I'd photograph the photograph for you) detailing a small cache found in an abandoned 2-story house in central Colorado. Caption reads "This find was made by a couple while on vacation in central Colorado during the summer of 1970.The treasure was found in an abandoned two-story house, between the first and second level of the stairwell. It consisted of a jewel case containing five $20 gold pieces, a diamond stickpin, a toy pistol and holster, two tintype pictures, a large belt buckle and various coins." It also appears to show at least 2 (gold?) chains or necklaces.
