🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Ceramic Hunted deer

White glazed ceramic or porcelain mudlark find. Looks to be a lid for something. I believe it is a deer hunted by a wolf? Head of wolf is missing. Found in Buffalo NY area. No maker's mark.

Trying to figure out age and what it was used for. Thank you!
