Hello,
It's been awhile but here goes. Pictures were taken at the U.S. Open Chainsaw carving championship in Eau Claire, Wisconsin earlier this month. Pretty amazing.

Those are awesome!

I want one. Thank you for sharing.

Outstanding. Definitely puts to shame all the chainsaw bears I see about every 50 ft up here!

Awesome artwork! I want a carved bench. Thanks for the pics.

What brand of saws were they using mostly? Stihl is probably a better saw. I had a Poulan, and it's called that cause you 'pull on' and 'pull on' it and it finally fires up.

Surely they didn't carve the teeth on the musky with just a chainsaw?!?! Those are amazing. People with talent like that just fascinate me.

I saw a few Stihl saws but I didn't pay all that much attention to them. I did notice that the bar came to more of a point than normal chain bar. I got a Mcculloch saw that starts about like yours.

Thanks for looking,

They had a variety of tools at hand. We got there on the last day so we missed a lot of the actual carving.

I did not catch it, so I went back and it still took me a couple minutes lol.

Yeah. I didn't know bigfoot was a plumber. But, that would explain why he is almost impossible to find!:laughing7:
