I am new to the forum and MDing. Am planning a trip to Charleston, SC in several weeks and was interested in any suggestions about open beach areas for MDing. Any hints or warnings regarding illegal areas also muchly appreciated.

Thanks for the info and offer. I'll be on a working vacation during my visit so it's hard to guess on my exact schedule but as I get a few hours free it's good to know I can hit the beach.
