Charl, I really found your point in pebble technology very informative. Thank you for taking the time to write that up, as it appears to apply to the fact that I find a lot of worked cobble stones at the site I am at. I attached some pictures of what I think are good examples of pebble technology. The first two are my favorite, front and back of a incomplete piece, an obvious river cobble that was work on, but left unfinished. This is something that every flint knapper can tell you about. I have picked up a lot of stone and it looks good on the outside, but after taking off a few flakes you see that it's not going to work for a blade or a tool. I keep all that I find:thumbsup:
