Folks,
I haven't been posting much over the past couple of months. But I have been pulling up the site and checking in to see what the daily finds or the CRH has up. I've noted a lot of new folks on the site, I'm happy they have picked up what I consider to be a great hobby.
Since I've been off-line I have continued to pull about four boxes a week. I occasionally pick up an extra box from a second supply. Monthly results over the late spring and summer have been below my take last year, but still decent.
April 11: 6x 90% (2 WL, 2 Bens, and 2 Kens) and 34x 40%
May 11: 0x 90% and 15x 40% (Ouch!)
June 11: 10x 90% (1 WL, 1 Ben, and 8 Kens) and 32x 40%
July 11: 17x 90% (2 WL, 6 Bens, and 9 Kens) and 29x 40%
Aug 11: 4x 90% (all Kens) and 45 40%.
Year to date totals are 125x 90% and 372x 40%.
This weekend and today I had the best draw in a while, its been a roller coaster run these last few months.
Box 1: 1x 90% (Ken) and 8x 40%
Box 2: 4x 40%
Box 3: 1x 90% (a bent-up Ken) and 10x 40%
Box 4: 1x 90% (Ken) and 6x 40%
Box 5 (different supply from the first 4): 1x 90%.
I also did some walk-in at some grocery store branch bank teller trays and came up with 2x 40% in about six stops.
So this weekend's total was 4x 90% and 31x 40%, which is the majority of my August take. Times are tough, but Rileyboy has it right -- its still out there.
