chewed bullet and other C.W. digs

I didn't get much time to dig this weekend but got a decent assortment of lead for the few hours I had. The first couple of pics are of the "chewed bullet", couple of marks definitely look like teeth- if I'm right this is my first.
I saw the Scovil Waterbury backmark on the button before I got it clean, lots of gold stars but not a military issue.
Nothing much this time around, did find a cellar hole for next weekend though!

Nice finds. I'm pretty sure the backmark on your Scovills button puts it in the 1840's.

chopper. great looking button, and some real nice bullets. looks like teeth marks to me. you have a nice site there, should find a buckle or plate there. good luck and keep on diggin. makes me want go out swinging right now, but its 2 in the morning and pretty damn dark out there. JYD
