Chickadee bringing lunch

I've been seeing this chickadee taking food to the one tending the nest in the pipe. Here, he was perched about six feet away from the nest waiting for me to leave. He didn't want to give away the nest location.

The other day I got to see baby killdeer. What I assume was the male was doing the injured bird act to get my attention and the babies went running to the female and just pushed in under her for protection. I took several pics, but unfortunately they turned out blurry from camera shake

Gotta love those baby killdeer.....absolutely identical to the adults except for size.
