1/2 cup sugar,1/2 salt.place whole bird in ziplock bag,mix salt & salt with water(enough 2 cover bird)cut the backbone out,crack the birds joints.get a good size brick or cast iron skillet and cover it with foil.toss the bird on the grill breast up and place the brick on it. 20 min each side over med heat.that brine works great with just about any good size piece of meat.ENJOY!
