I've seen some posit that it's all scripted just like pro wrestling. All I know is they rake in huge dollars for every game, and people get way too worked up about it.

We went out to dinner and to watch the game, I was rooting for the Eagles because they seemed to be the underdogs, although I'm not a sports fan and don't follow any of this...
During the fourth quarter when the score was 37-6 I basically said they should call the game so that the Chiefs would not continue to suffer 🤣 🤣 We then left the restaurant, clearly I missed something because the Chiefs mounted a small comeback ...

Missed the comeback, I guess. Turned it off at the final 2 min. warning...opted to finish watching the UFC prelims.

Yall didn’t miss a mini comeback…. When a team is getting throttled late into the game, and they put up a score or two, it’s called “garbage time”.
Back-ups go in on defense, or the focus/effort wanes a bit. Eagles had a 99.9% chance of winning (ESPN stats and analytics) not even halfway into the third quarter. That percentage didn’t change despite the two late scores.

On the bright side, "if" the conspiracy theory's true that the refs were carrying water for the Chiefs to have Tay Tay at the Super Bowl to bring in young girl viewers, I think that ended when she got booed.
The only thing the NFL wants less than Taylor "not" being there, is for her to be there and her fans to see their idol get booed, then resenting the NFL for the rest of their lives.
