Hiked up the Peru Creek trail. 10,000 ft., about 5 degrees, but lots of sun so lots of flatlanders out. Sections of the trail were exposed ice sheets, so a little tricky. Nice frost formations in shady spots.
Beautifully.... :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

Oh so cold and pretty! That ice looks treacherous.

Great looking spot.

Fossis............

Beautiful again! Ice on road looks very slick.... but the crystal on the tree is fantastic!

Oh, that's not on a tree, MG. It's just the ice formation itself.

Beautiful pics of beautiful country. Love the b&w crystal pic.

I detect along the edge of the parking lot here where they push off the snow and it's not too bad. I can find what was lost in the lot. I can't do any digging below that. I think the frost line here is something like 48 inches, anyway.
