Children don't always need to eat their Wheaties!
When my daughter, whom is 12, starting taking notice of the fact that my husband and I were metal detecting as our new hobby, she started asking us questions about it. She wanted to know what we were looking for....When I explained that old coins were one of our passions, her eyes lit up! She hurried off to her room, returning with a plastic bag with what appeared to be coins. She explained that years ago, her Dad, whom she rarely sees, had given her these coins, and told her to hang on to them as they might be valuable someday. (I knew nothing about this until now!) When she poured the bag's contents into my hand I couldn't believe it! These photos represent some of the contents: (Wheaties and Merc)
