Child's gold ring found today!

I was out at an old elementary school and I found a small gold ring today. I haven't hit gold in a few weeks so this was a welcome surprise!

This came out of a hole with a can top, a pulltab and a bottle cap. Just keep digging trash and you will get yours!

Na, just had parents that realized they had brought a gift to the world ha ha....... Of coarse kidding. Thinking back on it we were hard working middle class and that certainly wasn't a wise gift for a boy who loved the outdoors and played ball. I have found quite a few children's rings over the years that were silver, but honestly don't recall ever having dug a gold one. Almost all of my early years hunting with a metal detector were for CW relics and on occasion old home sites, so haven't found but a few gold rings in all the years. Never hit parks or schools etc.

It is a catholic school! You never know I guess! It's too small to even fit on a AA battery.
