It’s a Qing (Ch’ing) Dynasty ‘one cash’ coin for the Qianlong (Ch’ien-Lung) Emperor, who reigned from 1736-1796 with his regular coinage being produced between 1736-1795. The reverse shows it to be from the Board of Revenue mint in Beijing.



From the comparison above, note that there are some significant stylistic differences in the characters and I wouldn’t rule out it being a later replica. As for many old Chinese cash coins, imitations were made in later times for use as charms and celebratory gifts.
