Chinese coin

Found this Chinese coin in the construction area i hunted any clues to how old would help i do not see a date on it.i tried to clean it up a bit..

Dont think it is an old coin because it is in english and chinese. Probably 1950's or so. Maybe Dave in Japan or PBK might know.

It's a Republic of China, Kwangtung Province 20 cents piece issued sometime between 1912 and 1924. The silver content of these coins varied, and in some of the later years of issue it was as low as .500 (only 50% pure silver). Kwangtung-- now known as Guangdong-- is a province on the southeastern coast of China.

I have no idea in identifing it but its a nice piece for the collection . Silver too! the few chinese coins I happen to find were the early copper type with the square hole in the middle...some as early as the 1850's ....! HH
