Paid $5 for these and a pair of weighted sterling candlesticks. The closest I can find are pieces made by Wang Hing but I am totally lost with the marks. If they are upside down please let me know and I'll upload a flipped version.

Sweet. Are the dragons added to the pieces or are they hammered out from the inside (repousse)? I can't help with the marks....

The dragons are attached to the outside, not repousse. Someone on another forum said that the Mark on the left is for "pure silver" so guessing the other one is a maker's mark.

Here are better pictures of the marks as well as the gently cleaned items in question, they're really beautiful.

ugh.. love them!!!

Sold these last night for $500 to someone on another forum. A different user on that site also was able to identify the mark as that of the silversmith Shengyuan.

Awesome find and an even better sale

Arrrg... little late. :P
