On my latest camping trip to Cle Elum, WA a couple weeks ago, I found two cobbles of Porphyry. one looks to have some coal spinel in the matrix, too.

Those are nice. The phenocrysts on yours are rod shaped. The porphyry we have has more rounded phenocrysts. Ours came from Canada via the WI glacier. I do lapidary and make pipes from it. One of my favorite type of rock. First one is diabase porphyry and the black one is basalt.
