Nice find! I wonder how someone lost that without being aware it was gone. Looks like it would have been heavy, and noticeable when it dropped.

The cross is about 1 and 1/2 inches long. I found it between the stones of a road in Castellanza Italy while walking.
I recovered the cross using my ink pen to get it out of the space between the stones.
