Picked up a bag of dimes on Christmas Eve morning and looked through them late this evening after things wound down.

Had a couple firsts for me.

My first Silver Proof (2006-S)
My first found 1947-D Roosevelt (only 14 more to finish the pre-1965 Roosevelt dimes in 2007....don't think I'll make that goal)
Also had 5 other pre-1965 Roosevelt (1948-D, 1962-D, 1963-D, 1964, 1964-D)

22 Canadian (1969, 1973, 1974, 1977, 1978(3), 1979(3), 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1995, 1998(2), 2001-P, 2005-P, 2006-P)

3 Foreign (Denmark , 25 Ore (1990), Ecudor, 10 Centavos (2000), Netherlands, 1 Euro Cent (2001))

OH you must not have gotten any toys to play with. My husband has been complaining that all I do is look at coins 24 hours a day so now i wait til he is at work or in bed. LOL bad thing about that is I stay up until 4 a.m.

Well we did pick up a Nintendo Wii for the family this year. I think I spent half the day yesterday playing it with my son.

I usually do majority of my coin stuff after the wife and kids are in bed, but I stay up until 2 or 3 AM because I can't sleep anyway so not really any different than when I didn't do coins. Just doing different stuff in the middle of the night. The biggest impact to them is the occasional Saturday morning road trip.

Not a bad bag of dimes, what do you do with the foreign stuff? Just save them?
