Made a 3 1/2 hour beach hunt this morning. Temp was 27, falling tide and light winds out of the northwest. My first signal was a low tone which I never did recover, I’m guessing it was small aluminum. Second target was a nickel and the third signal was the ticket. Got a 4/5 that would jump to an 8 on the equinox. Made one scoop and there it was, shiny gold and diamonds.
the rest of the hunt was kind of uneventful after that. Ended up with 3.50 in clad and a small amount of trash.
the ring weighed in at 3.64 grams
merry Christmas everyone
