'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the woods, my Equinox was singing and giving up the goods!

Wow ok sorry for my terrible rhyme Lol but it's the truth. Found probably my best ring ever! 14k gold Freemason ring with a Diamond! It weighs 13 grams Woo-hoo! It rang up as a nice 21-22 on the 800 at about 4 inches. Way better than the penny I was expecting.

Christmas came earlier than expected today. I would have been just fine with my 14 wheat penny spill with surprise merc, but this ring takes the day.

Say What! In the woods? Gee I just read in another thread that detecting woods would only produce trash.
Well trash that statement all to heck.

Thanks pepperj! Oh I love detecting in the woods. I like to hug the edge of the hiking paths and I have found many good things with this method. This ring was maybe 2 feet off the path. Same with the coin spill about 3 or 4 feet from the path. You will dig trash no matter where you go but we all know that right? Ha no worries there I just put it in the tree for the photo 😉
