I'll put this here, Because I think it's Funny.

I closed out an account I had with Cingular Last month.

I owed them .38

They Spent .32 to send me a Bill for .38

Not to be Outdone, I spent .32 to send them a Quarter, Dime, & Nickel

total .40

Today I received a Check From Cingular for .02 which cost them
.32 to send me.

Why didn't they just forget the .38 ?

Total cost to them .64 to collect .38 (not counting the check, their still out .64)

Total cost to me .70 to pay the .38 (I'm out .34)

in my opinion, I still won
I got a Check for .02 to laugh at

What did they get ?
a Balanced Book ?

The check will stay uncashed.
The whole reason I taped the .40 to the Bill & sent it in,
was because I knew they would waste more money to send me a check
I doubt I'm the only one either.




it would make more sense to me, If I were Cingular,
to just Throw out every Debt for $1.00 or less.

They would Probably be earning more money in the long run.
What if when they sent me the Bill for .38
I ignored it till it was sent to Collection ?
(all the .32 cent stamps they would have wasted)
Unless they added intrest (and even Then)
It is a waste of money on their end.
not that it looks like they need it :P

LMAO...that is too funny!!!!

This reminds me of a bill we got a couple months back from the Gas Company. 39 cents to send out a bill for 14 cents!!! (we overpay our utility bills). I called them and said, "I refuse to send a check for 14 cents. If we wait until next month to pay this bill with our next bill, will we be charged a late fee?" and the answer was yes....so we would pay 1.5 % late fee on 14 cents...so I sent hubby to the grocery store (since he had to go anyway) and pay the 14 cents LOL...too funny.
