Hi all:

I've been very busy the past few weeks and done little hunting. Today I needed a few groceries so I justified swinging past my city house for a "short" hunt enroute. Last time there it was very dry so I was looking forward to more moist digging. I found two rings, a buckle, part of a baby spoon, a 1914 wheatie and was most happy with a 1907 IH. :icon_thumleft: I also found an aluminum type penny that I don't think is play money but I haven't been able to ID. :icon_scratch: Anyone have any ideas? (This is the same site where I found an Austrian coin.)

Thanks for looking and HH.
p.s. You guys sure make finding silver look easy!

nice IH & relics... I like the rings too.

Some of the Asian countries have used aluminum coins for a while. China started in the late 50's. Couple other countries started in the 60's or early 70's.

Check out this link, they have a pic of your coin, except that it's a proof

sweet!, glad you were able to get out and do some hunting. its so nice diggin after all that rain  congrats on the IH and the rings, they look very nice. dont ya love digging those oldies, I'm believing for a short winter, just barely enough time to research some places. ;D good luck out there! Griff

Sweet looking Indian! :headbang: I hope to dig one of those some day.

Good luck,

wow! nice finds. Are you sure you didn't forget the bread or milk or something? ;D

Thanks Rando and Rusted Iron for the coin ID....yes, it a Korean penny. My hubbie thought the markings on it looked Korean but I wasn't able to find an exact match on-line. Well, I'm sure it is not worth much but I'd rather dig something foreign than another Lincoln Memorial.

Mike- No date on the Korean penny and if it has a date it's written in Korean symbols. :icon_scratch:
