Civil War .22 ?

Civil war bullet? Found in an area I've found numerous civil war bullets & other 1840's relics. Measures 0.21 in dia & 0.36 in length. Thanks for any info.

the .22 was developed about mid 1850's and was popular by both sides during the CW.

In fact is manufactured today, the longest mfg. in ammo history.
