Thank you yea this one was my very first and it was dug in central VA as well just today and it was almost a foot deep and It wasn't still in the hole in dumped a plug out it broke away and I saw that back and knew right away. :) thank you all very much I will be going back out tomorrow hopefully another post will be on tomorrow Happy hunting everyone

No i dont believe so on it being the burnside style its got the gap between the wing and the rim from what ive been told and educated on isnthe burnside plates wingn touches the rim

Found sword hanger scabbard tip a beautiful locket 69 cal bullets eagle buttons eagle I buttons dropped and fired bullets hopefully more plates or even a buckle
