I was out with my husband today walking a creek bank in search of arrowheads and I found this in the bank instead. It looks like a .58 cal. 3-ringer to me, what do you think?? Keep in mind, I was not metal detecting and when I first saw it I thought it was a piece of poo!!

nice find and good eyes

That is what she looks like from here. Nice eye ball find I would go back with a metal detector and do a little research. Welcome to T-Net. Good luck!

Actually, it is a piece of poo. Sorry!

Takes good eyes for arrow heads and better one for that.congrats

Nice find.
I grew up in Taney County. I used to detect an old camp on Swan Creek just above Forsyth. There were also several dollar gold coins dug at this camp. Congrats!...Steve

Nice find... And agree with the others, I would get back out there with the detector. Hope to see some more of your finds!

Congrats on the three ringer! I wish there were CW era artifacts to find in my neck of the woods. If you have access to a tector, you need to get it out there.
