Civil War Button? I think.

I found this button today. I am thinking it is a Civil War era button but I am not sure. There is makers name on the back and it is concave. Can anyone share some info. on this particular button? It would me much appreciated.

If you could find out the maker's name it would help a lot. IT appears to be a General Service button.
