Finally got to get out to a camp site me and my friend have wanted to hunt for 20 years. He got a breast plate and 18 bullets and odds and ends before I got there. It was a union camp in 1862. We were hoping it had never been hit but we are pretty sure it was, but like all the other sites near there the people didn't get it all. I ended up with 31 bullets he got 38. He found he's first eagle button and a second. A 1847 large cent and 57 flying eagle along with a 1680s Japanese coin. I got 4 eagle buttons and a 1848 Zachary Taylor campaign button. My favorite find was the borman fuse underplug. My son got his first bullet. Later on he yelled out he got a jewel, I didn't believe it but he proved me wrong lol. Will be back there soon, not easy hunting but know some left.

Excellent job. No one ever gets it all, but these days it's getting tougher and tougher.

looks like a table full of good stuff.
