on the daily finds, you will see what i located by dowsing the field and found a line with my rods, in which direction there was a coin indicated as being on the surface....to say im well pleased with my first dowsing coin would be an understatement ;D ;D ;D ;D, i hope to dowse this ( field 1 ), more, keep an eye open for my finds

a return day 2, located two lines for several silver coins buried, and more coins from 1644 period
lots of pottery from roman period to civil war period, and 18th cent preserve pottery (names of companies etc )
will sort the field into squares, and use rods and detect one at a time

day 3, more pottery finds, and a few lead cubes ??? ???, and while thinking to myself, that some of our other british counterparts always find buttons, i thought i never find buttons ever, my sub-concious lead me in a line to a point, i metal detected it, bloody hell.....its a button ;D ;D

now i have the coin at the local museum, and were over-joyed to find one like it, in such good condition :hello2:
