CIVIL WAR/COIN?

I found these items today at the site of a small Civil War skirmish that also has Indian mounds in the area. The first item appears to be some type of coin but not sure what kind. It may be a hand made token of some type. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. the second item, I haven't got a clue. maybe a flag pole topper?

Swamp digger, You might need to provide a more clear picture of your coin-sized item to get an ID. As for the other item, is it 2 inches long or several feet?

Looks like a Lead Token, they are common(ish) over here, not seen many turn up in the US.
