Hey everyone,
First off, this find is from a cellar hole hunt that I went on just before the blizzard came to my part of town...so this is a recent find but not a "today find" per say but I wanted to share it anyways. I didn't know what it was until I got it ID'd today. I was told it is a broken civil war era scabbard tip. Thanks for looking! I can't see any makers marks as I now.

Nice relic. Also known as a scabbard drag.
