Civil War for veteran unit pins?

I got these in a small box of costume jewelry.
I’m guessing this was made for a veteran after the war? Anyone know what the value might be or what they are called so I can search comparables?
I read it as company b of the third Illinois cavalry
Any thoughts appreciated.
Each section is about 2”x 5/8”
