Civil War frock coat

[Civil War Geek]

This is a navy frock coat found in Rhode Island.Wool is a very tight weave and has a linen liner. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was civil war, or post civil war, and any other info on it.

Any help would be highly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
