I found this token at a 1845 house today. I did a little research on it and found it to be a 1850/1860s gaming token. I also read that imitations could have been made of this token. Is there any way to confirm this is the genuine article? It weighs in at .244 of an ounce, the edge is reeded. It has the color of brass in the protected areas but there is corrosion. Opinions? front says (nothing is impossible to him that wills)Other side(united States birth place of freedom)One more question, what kind of game was this used for?
