Today a friend from Tnet and I went to one of their well hunted civil war sites. This location is fun but digging conditions not so fun. If you have hunted in the red clay, you know. My buddy had pointed out a few hut locations and had a hunch on a good spot and as always BINGO. Slowly skimming down layers and a few relics, pottery and glass started coming to light. Our first good target was a complete New York button ( not pictured) and a few seconds later a mini popped out. From there we discovered a solid cast Confederate Block I
, 4 mini balls, camp lead, 2 New York buttons, under buttons, my first dug percussion cap, J hook, belt clip, ration pieces, and a few others. We had to cut the trip short due to another snow storm but we put in almost 3 hours. We were moving quick LOL thanks for looking GL & HH
