Just returned from the border area. Hiked in three miles over roughly country and was rewarded with these trinkets. Scovllle . Extra . cuff or hat button 1850- 1860 used by both sides in CW. That is early for AZ. Also found a 1 scruple coin weight equal to 1/24 gram used to weigh gold on a balance scale, a first for me. Artillery buckle. circa 1909 army issue for strapping together the heads of two horses to make a team. The more remote the site the better the finds.

GREAT finds Qball. Thanks for sharing...

Arizona is part of the Confederacy. I was born there. That makes me a Rebel. :skullflag: Nice finds. I was down there many moons ago. We were drinking beer and watching the Wet Backs move through the brush.

Excellent finds,, some of that country you're scouring can get pretty rough.

Nice finds. Civil War buttons always make for a great outing.

Keep up the good work! :icon_thumleft:

In some states in the south, there are people fighting the civil war. Good luck to them.
