A rosette is a piece off of a horse bridle. Here is a picture of one in action! It's the round thing above the (2) buckles. In the old days, they were usually stamped brass with lead filled backs.

Earthworks is a broad definition- are holes/trenches they dug for protection and would lay in/fire from during battle also earthworks were used to conceal cannons/artillery . Lots of people refer to the as fox holes in later wars. I have seen some earthworks near Richmond several hundred feet in length. They are hard to see in this video. I sure if you Google Civil War earthworks might give you a fancy definition.

Thanks for the info. I will start taking some still photos to include in future post.

Good hunt man. I am still learning my at pro. I have been a whites user since i started in 86 so it is a big change. What mode do u hunt in and where is your sensitivity set. Thanks in advance.

You should post the snake video! It is classic!

I use the standard custom mode most of the time. If I am somewhere with alot of smaller iron and junk I will set the discrim at 35ish. A pretty clean area I keep it about 18-20.
