Civil War Relic ID Help

Found this today in Dallas, Ga. Along with a couple bullets beside it. Does anyone know what the middle relic is? Thank y'all for your help.

It may be a front sight from cannon.
These are some of my sights. Nice find.

I may be mistaken but it appears to be a screw in tip for a soldering iron.
