I have dug two of the spoon bowls in Union sites, ever. After the last one I went looking for a non dug example. They are relatively expensive so I settled on one with half the wood missing from the handle. The spoon folds down over the handle. With some wood, chemicals and patience (of which I have little of these days), I restored it. What do you think?

I think it looks great! Good job.

Looks functional again. Congrats!

As I await a solid silver spoon to find it's way under my coil.... I folded a non solid one that did to fit my belt. (Imagine the handle folded to make a hook of sorts with only enough gap to ride the belt.)
It found it's way onto a knife sheath I made.

A spoon is versatile.
And good to have with a tin or similar cup when food is on the fire.
Just as passersby with cups in the morning used to be welcomed at some camps to my coffee pots contents, it's better to have your implements at hand than seek mine as guests. Next I'd have to eat or drink in thier stead. (Well , long ago anyways.)

Well Done great work on the restoration

Looks good to me. If you ever decide to sell it I will give you 25% of what you have in it!:laughing7:

Nice work! Does yours have the knife as well or just the fork and spoon?

Looks great, good job

Just a knife with it.
