Civil War Virginia Staff Officer button Eagle Infantry and much more at old homestead

Hit an old homestead where they plowed the field. Soil is pure sand and the relics come out in amazing condition. Found a real nice collection on the scorching heat. Best find is an officer VA 3 piece button in great condition. Also beautiful Eagle Infantry button and early 1800s Golden age button along with flat buttons and musket balls and lantern holder. Definitely a great day

Those are some of the clearests pics Ive ever seen on here. anyway those are some amazing finds you are in a State I would love to detect in . Lots of history.. I would put those in a display case after I went back for more. Great post

Really tho , Those Staff buttons don't come out much nicer, the 'I' is Sweet also.

That 'star' in nice as well , Heck I may find 1 flat button every 2 years.

That said I have had a Blessed year this 2018.
