Clam Shells with Natural Hole Formations

Found these on the beach in Washington. Love the naturally made holes that were made by snails that bore into them for food.

So Cool!
I have a small Clam Shaped stone with three whelk holes in it,
the number of raspy tongued licks over thousands of years by these creatures to accomplish this astounds me :laughing7:
Will track it down and post a photo, (hopefully)

Hi, Found that stone.
Was recovered on beautiful White Island, just a spit of rock outside portsmouth harbor.
awesome tidepool at low tide full of interesting creatures (including 'NH Mannatee' on youtube)
