Hi everyone,
I found a 10k gold class ring last May 2009 at a school. I found the owner about two weeks after I found the ring!! :hello2:. He told me that he had lost it 12 years ago while playing football with his friends. He could not believe I had found it ! I never did make a post then and I came across the pictures today . The one picture is of the owner and myself , I am on the right. He was very happy !! :laughing9: :icon_thumleft:.
Thanks for looking,
Glen

Great job. I found one about two years ago & still have not been able to locate the owner.

WTG! That belongs under the honorable mention category and good job. He looks like he's a bit happy

Well done. :hello2:

You are a credit to this fine hobby of ours.

Best Wishes,

Nice find and return :icon_thumright:

Honorable Mention vote here! Nice job! :hello2:

Great find and story :icon_thumright:

WTG! The look on their face when returned is what makes our hobby satisfying. I have found 4 class rings, returned 2, still trying to return 3rd after 5 years and numerous calls to her parents, and 4th is unidentifiable. Welcome to T-net. HH.

I have found two more in the past 6 month but both did not have a name. One is from 1943 !!!
Here is a photo of both.

The man who I returned the ring to a year and a half ago helped me out big time today !! He owns a heating and A/C company and said since I found his ring he would help me out with any problems I had with my heating and A/C . Well it's been very hot out here in San Jose this week and my A/C stopped working . I found his number and sure enough he said he would be over and fix it . With in 20 minutes he had it up and running again FREE of charge . He is a great guy ! :icon_thumright:

Glen, you're the 'great guy' for having returned his ring in the first place.
What goes around comes around; and sometimes what you give is much less than you receive back.
Good job!
Don.......
