Ive gotten multiple answers as to what these Are... Not perfectly round and found in the same field near a colonial dump site and ancient indian camp, are they marbles or what?

Marbles they be. I find a lot in yards around here and often in privies. Found two in my yard this week, just sifting topsoil.

In agreement with the rest of the guys. We call them Indian or Pioneer marbles. They are fun to find.
