Clean your coil

Took my coil cover off of the 5×8 coil today to clean it. This is the coil I use the most and hasn't been off since I got the Atpro in December. Won't do that again, it was terribly dirty. I use my detecter about 16 to 20 hrs a week, had no idea it would get that dirty, that quick. I usually clean the outside of the detecter once a week, think I'll remove coil cover every other time. I don't want to do it to much and make the cover loose. What's your thoughts?:beer:
