I finally was able to get out and do some diggin' yesterday,40 deg. heat wave.Most of the ground is still frozen but you have some pocket's that you can get through.I finally got my hand's on a complete lock plate.I've found a hammer and tumbler before but nothing like this.Right now it's getting zapped,still trying to ID it....any thought's?? Thank's for looking :thumbsup:

Great find..I've got to learn how to clean some of my finds up like that. Good job.

Hey Joe, I have to say congratulations and that you have a unique looking lockplate there. It looks STUNNINGLY similar to a "Cook and Brother" lock, a CS maker out of New Orleans and Athens, GA. :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumleft: :wink:
