I read the post about cleaning up a park by detecting out the trash first and then go back to hunt. Did that at a local beach. Now all of my signals are under 4" and very little trash.

Took about 2 weeks of going there after work for about 2 hours a night detect the entire beach. Took some work, but it is a better place to hunt now.

Went at lunch today and found a bunch of coins at 2" or so which were from the holiday weekend.

I still don't dig signals over 8" there because it is generally trash or I am hitting the old soil under the beach which is man-made.

I have only seen one other person there, a retired guy who comes on Mondays in the a.m. He never detects the entire thing.

Let me commend you. Well done!
By doing so, you've made it a safer beach and better place to detect.
Deep coins will be revealed with an ATPro easily. They must be there though.
Old soil can be what you're looking for.
Have you researched site?
GL
Peace ✌
