Cleaning My Clad (what am i doing wrong)

Why are my coins coming out like this. I use a rock tumbler w/ aquarium gravel, most of my coins have a dark speckled look to them I'm very nonplused. I have tried leaving them in for 10+ hrs and the time doesnt make a difference... can anyone throw this dog a bone

Thats normal They look clean to me ....Go spend them .... Is it worth all the time and effort to clean them any better...

An hour in the tumbler or 10 hours they will always come out the same so why spend that much time on them. If you want them to shine then hand buff them for an hour each.... Would you spend an hour cleaning a clad Quarter ?

Get the majority of the dirt off and let the public clean the rest in their pockets.

I guess getting them to really shine is not possible. Thanks for the response, I will just get the dirt off them in the tumbler and get them back in circulation :P
