Cleaning out old finds - Rolex watch ?

Hi guys - I’m using this week to clean out my closet of some old finds. I bought this watch and a few other items for $10 at an estate sale. It is marked Rolex. Before I get rid of it, can you all help me determine if it is a fake. I know nothing of watches. Thank you.

Looks to me to be a copy.But that's a good thing, because real ones keep LOUSY time

A very bad fake. The logo is splashed onto a “diamond”. And quartz. But still worth at least $15 to somebody. I throw those Fauxlexes into watch piles and list the entire group.

Actually mine keeps great time. Only issue is it is timed at sea level, so when I come back up to altitude, it picks up just a slight more speed

Even the fakes can go for a few hundred
