I was wondering if it would be ok to post photo's of the original Clear Fork Adze blade that I found about ten years ago. I have been thinking about hafting it for several years but wanted to do it right we trimmed the big oak tree in the yard last year so I saved a few pieces for projects. I cut and trimmed and scraped the wood with a large flint flake and did what cutting I need to do with a combination scraper on one side and rough serrated saw type blade on the other side that I knapped out. Then I scraped the wood smooth with a smaller flake and then used a piece of sand stone to smooth the wood I then put the blade in the handle and wrapped it with deer rawhide using no modern tools at all and no glue's of any kind so not to damage the artifact, so I can take it out without any damage to the blade. Anyway, if it ok I'll post a photo if you guy's and gal's would like to se it. The blade is original, not a modern knapped piece.
